Cristian Viviano

Self-taught musician, Dj and Producer, Cristian Viviano (born in Palermo in 1987), can definitely be qualified as a polyhedric and inspired artist. Listening to his sets, which are involving and full of positive vibes, it is impossible not to notice the strong sense of empathy he feels with the audience. His passion for music was born in the streets under the influence of funky culture. His personal discovery of musical technology led him towards a strongly tribal influenced, techno and house rhythm, which he achieves by using sequencers, synthesizers and drum machines. From 2000 to 2006 he was resident DJ of the crew Religion (Sicily), playing with artists as Kenny Dope Gonzalez, Frankie Knuckles, Timo Maas & others important names of the international house music scene. Since 2000, Cristian has played in many well known clubs and parties around Italy and the world, such as: Peter Pan, Cocoricò, Fluid, Mazoom Le Plaisir, Circolo Degli Illuminati, Mob, around the world as Heart club (Miami), Fabric (London), Pacha, Sankeys, Ushuaia, Blue Marlin (Ibiza), Vanilla Ninja, Gazgolder, Rodnya (Moscow), Kulturclub (Mainz), Macarena club (Barcelona), Scorpios (Mykonos), Movement (Croatia) and many more. In 2009, he was awarded the "Trend Award" as Top Italian Dj Young. In 2010, he began cooperating with well-known labels such as Climatic Sound, Time has changed, Monique Musique and Tenax. His work is supported by artists such as Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Matthias Tanzmann, Marco Carola and many others... In summer 2011 Cristian has been the creator of the Pleiadians Ibiza movement, promoting events in various locations, hosting in his console artists like: Raresh, SIS, Cezar, Apollonia, Vera, Nima Gorji, Jan Krueger, Seuil, Cassy, Piticu & many more. He also became a member of the COCOLINO project created by SIS. They started collaborating in Ibiza after finding common points of view based on respect for good music. The 2012 begins with very important gigs around Europe, Spain, Italy, Russia, Germany, Croatia, United Kingdom he had also is own party at club Punta Arabi Ibiza during the summer season. Cristian's first album "As old as young" on his own label “Descending Order” became reality in November, the release had a great reaction from the underground scene. During 2013 and 2014 he released his second album (From Darkness to Light) and appears on labels such as Safari Electronique, Natural Rhythm, Fventi, Lapsus music, one of his works (Poetic Effusion) has been selected from Paco Osuna for the Enter Compilation released by Minus recordings. Cristian played for the best clubs of the white island, such as Pacha, Destino, Sankeys, Blue Marlin, Ushuaia and many more. In 2015 Cristian won a Beat Port remix competition for the well know Moon Harbour (Matthias Tanzmann’s label) and became resident DJ of Ibiza Talents (Ibiza). 2016 is certainly one of the best years with important international appearances such as: Movement Festival (Croatia), Heart Nightclub (Miami), Scorpios (Mykonos). In Ibiza he played as headliner at Blue Marlin, Pacha, Destino, Heart, Its all about Music radio show by Music On team. He also released his music on Descending Order, Great stuff and Ibiza Talents. 2017 brings some big news, Cristian signs one of his works “Paradise” for the well known Canadian label My Favorite Robot records. His works "DAUGHTER" and "CREATURES OF THE NIGHT" released on his own label Descending Order have been played from all the big guys of the industry. He was contacted from the Master Andrea Morricone (Ennio Morricone's Son) and he was involved on a Andrea's electronic music new project, he spent several months in the studio with the son of the best musician of the last 40 years. The collaboration became very interesting because it's a proper fusion of two different cultures and style of music, in 2018 Cristian Viviano & Andrea Morricone finished the album wich is gonna be released soon. Cristian's ibiza season was very intense and full of big things, one of those the 4 gigs at MUSIC ON day show and the summer residency at Ibiza Talents at El Patio and he also wrote and produced the official intro for the well-known IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC radio. Currently, Cristian is focus on his new live project, SOLWINGS whose name is an homage to Cristian’s young daughter Marisol, is meant to embody his idea of diffusing light and love through music. Analog equipment and eclectic influences seamlessly blend with mystic voices and ethnic sources, giving shape to the peculiar sound of the band. The various collaborations with many artists and musicians make this a unique project.
